The Position and Candidate Qualifications

The Montefiore Department of Radiology is seeking an A
-Certified/Eligible Radiologist to join the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division for a full-time position, beginning September 2021. The 6-member Cardiothoracic Imaging Division is a collegial group that provides coverage of several inpatient and outpatient facilities, the Heart Center, Cancer Center, Critical Care and Emergency Imaging as well as Heart and Lung transplant programs. Qualified candidates should be proficient in CT and MR for both pulmonary and cardiac indications and have mastery of chest radiography as well as procedures.

We have a robust, ACR-accredited lung cancer screening program. Mentorship will be provided for highly specialized practice areas and for research. Our staff is responsible for the education and supervision of two fellows as well as the chest and cardiac rotations and curriculum for radiology residents. A
-Certified/Eligible fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Radiologist. Compensation and benefits are highly competitive. Faculty rank at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience. Applicants must be eligible for and be able to obtain licensure in New York prior to their start date.

In addition to a competitive salary starting at $425,000-$525,000, we offer the opportunity to make more income with additional call responsibilities and productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered.
