. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds.

Opportunity Details:- Determines and prescribes kinds of anesthetics and procedures to be employed in various categories of cases.
- Advises Anesthetists and Surgeons in cases where age or condition of patient presents unusual or complex problems.
- Recommends suitable anesthesia, advises on dosages, and consults on post-operative complications.
- Reviews case histories and is responsible for all matters pertaining to Anesthesiology.
- Attends clinical conferences.
- 40 hour work week with no embedded call.
- Ability to make added compensation by taking call or additional sessional hour.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Anesthesia.
- A license to practice Medicine in the State of New York.
- Experience in block placement in upper and lower extremities preferred, but not required.
Annual Base Salary: $421,000* (board eligible); $431,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated between $600,000** (board eligible) and $610,000** (board certified) which includes the baseline salary, fringe benefits, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below.
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets

- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required
