Overview
The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is recruiting fellowship trained radiologists to join the current 21-member Division of Emergency Radiology covering overnight radiology for the large health care system’s tertiary hospitals and expanding community hospital network. This is a full‑time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
CompensationHigh base salary based on individual productivity ranging from $450,000 to $750,000 with quarterly productivity incentives. Abundant internal moonlighting opportunities are also readily available.
Work Schedule7 nights on / 14 days off. Manageable 9‑hour shifts. Work remotely at home; in‑state or out‑of‑state. 1.0 FTE with full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, wellness, program, 401(k) with employer contribution of up to 9%, and 457(b) plan option.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities include covering CT, US, and occasional MR from the emergency department and STAT inpatients for both tertiary and community sites. Four residents per night assist in coverage of tertiary sites. Minimal plain film responsibility. The role provides a strong leadership and collegial environment with emphasis on teamwork in a large group setting with fellowship trained colleagues in multiple subspecialties.
