Position SummaryThe Department of Pediatrics at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking a new clinical physician as an Assistant Clinical General Pediatrician. This position will involve working at a new primary care pediatrics office, managed by the New York-Presbyterian Medical Group in Scarsdale, NY.
In this role, you will participate in providing the highest level of care to general pediatric patients in the office.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
- Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications.
- Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction scores.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets.
- Lead initiatives to improve clinical workflows, patient outcomes, or healthcare delivery systems.
- Act as a liaison between clinical staff and organizational leadership, ensuring alignment of goals.
- Oversee clinical teams or programs, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Represent the department or institution in professional or public-facing roles.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
- Doctor in Medicine.
- Board Certified or eligible.
- New York State Medical License.
- 0-5 years post training.
