Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist to the Behavioral Health group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx
. NCB is a 213-bed community hospital providing quality care in a friendly and setting. This facility provides a range of services, and is known for its outstanding Behavioral Health, Women's Health, Primary Care, Pediatric, Geriatric and Specialty Ambulatory services. The department of Psychiatry has 3 Adult Inpatient Units, a satellite CPEP, a Psychiatry Consultation Liaison service, a Partial Hospital Program, an Outpatient Department, and an ACT team.

• The attending will have overall responsibility and work with an experienced multidisciplinary clinical staff to provide hands‑on direct clinical assessment, diagnosis, acute stabilization and management, crisis intervention and care, and appropriate disposition for a cohort of geriatric inpatients.
• The attending will have responsibility for clinical and educational activities on a 23‑bed acute Geriatric/adult inpatient unit, including participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Direct supervision of Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychiatric PA staff and Medical Students.
• Participation in all activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and student supervision, education & training.
• Participate in our innovative integrative care activities.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry.
• Completion of an approved Psychiatry residency training program.
• MD or DO from accredited school of medicine.
• License to practice medicine in the State of NY.

Annual Base Salary: $267,900* (board eligible); $278,200* (board certified) based on 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690** (board eligible) and $450,020** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below.

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
