Lewis County Health System is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to help complete the rebuild of our Women’s Health Service in Lowville, New York
. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, hospital‑employed practice and play a key role in shaping the future of women’s healthcare in a close‑knit rural community.

We are looking for a physician who values leadership, teamwork, and high‑quality patient care
, with a strong interest in surgical and procedural work.

• Join 2 Board‑Certified OB/GYN physicians with the need for one additional provider
• Supported by 1 outpatient Nurse Practitioner
  , allowing physicians to focus on surgical and procedural care
• Full‑scope OB/GYN practice with active surgical volume
• Opportunity to help rebuild and grow a vital Women’s Health program

• Very competitive base salary up to $628,000 (full‑time)
• $50,000 sign‑on and/or relocation bonus
• RVU productivity bonus paid quarterly
• 100% of wRVU value over MGMA 75th percentile benchmark
• Call coverage:
  10 days per month
• Additional $1,500 per call day for any coverage beyond 10 days in a month

• Goal to increase to 220+ deliveries in 2026
• Scheduled surgical block time 2 days per week
• Additional OR access for urgent and emergent cases

• Occurrence‑based malpractice coverage
• 6 weeks paid time off
