* Overview
* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services, manage a diverse patient population, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality medical care.
This role offers opportunities to work in, utilizing advanced medical technologies and EMR systems to optimize patient outcomes. Candidates with expertise in various subspecialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonology, and hospital medicine are encouraged to apply. A strong foundation in medical records management, clinical research, and adherence to HIPAA standards is essential for success in this position.
* Responsibilities
* * Conduct thorough patient assessments through physical examinations and medical history reviews
* Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs
* Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing tools such as CT scans, diagnostic radiology, and medical imaging techniques like mammography and nuclear medicine
* Manage acute and chronic conditions across a broad spectrum of internal medicine subspecialties including cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, neurology, nephrology, and infectious disease care
* Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as ECW for documentation, order entry, and patient data management
* Administer treatments such as medication management and immunizations.
* Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care
* Provide patient education on health coaching topics including diabetes care, nutrition and smoking cessation.
* Collaborate with specialists in areas like psychiatry, ophthalmology, obstetrics & gynecology (Ob/Gyn), pediatric critical & intensive care, trauma medicine, and more as needed
* Qualifications
* * Medical degree from an accredited institution with active licensure as an Internal Medicine Physician
* Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or relevant subspecialties such as cardiology or endocrinology
* Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including ECW; familiarity with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is preferred
* Knowledge of diagnostic radiology modalities such as CT scans and nuclear medicine procedures
* Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology knowledge, and clinical evaluation techniques
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education
* Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
