A large healthcare system in Washington, D.C., is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist to join its growing radiology team, which supports emergency departments across the region. This position is 100% remote and offers evening or overnight shift options, providing flexibility while delivering high-acuity emergency imaging services for a leading academic health system.
Position DetailsThe Emergency Radiologist will provide timely, high-quality diagnostic imaging interpretation for emergency and trauma patients, collaborating closely with emergency medicine physicians, surgeons, and other clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret a broad range of emergency imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films
- Provide rapid, accurate reads to support trauma and acute care decision-making
- Communicate critical findings directly to emergency and consulting clinicians
- Contribute to quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (A )
- Emergency Radiology fellowship training is preferred but not required
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington, DC
