Position Title Clinical Professor, Pediatric Pulmonologist
The Department of Pediatrics in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo (UB) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a dynamic and growing Division of Pediatric Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine.
The selected candidate will contribute to clinical care, education, research, and program development, with significant leadership opportunities, including the potential to lead the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Program.
Division & Program HighlightsThe Division provides comprehensive care for children with acute and chronic respiratory diseases, supported by a multidisciplinary team and strong institutional infrastructure.

Clinical Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology care
- Participate in consult services (PICU, NICU, general pediatrics)
- Manage conditions such as cystic fibrosis, asthma, BPD, neuromuscular disease, and sleep disorders
- Flexible bronchoscopy/advanced bronchoscopy
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinics
- Faculty appointment with opportunities for protected academic time
- Participation in clinical trials and outcomes research
- Collaboration across pulmonary, allergy/immunology, neonatology, and critical care
- Mentorship of trainees
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in conferences and curriculum development
- Leadership opportunities in fellowship education
