Trauma​/Acute Care Surgeon

Northwell Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Acute Care Surgeon with fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care/Trauma Surgery to join the Division of Acute Care Surgery at North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) in Manhasset, New York.

• Practice at an ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center
• High-volume practice spanning trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care
• Clinical rotation through the Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical ICU services
• Dedicated advanced practice provider (APP) support
• Sky Health air medical transport program with an on-site helipad
• State-of-the-art Surgical Pavilion with advanced operating suites and ICU capabilities
• Active role in resident and medical student education
• Academic appointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
• Completed fellowship in Surgical Critical Care and/or Trauma Surgery
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure
• Commitment to teaching, teamwork, and high-quality patient care
