The Women's Health Department at WMCHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) service. In this comprehensive position, the PA will work alongside experienced MD and APP colleagues managing a wide variety of GYN patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who thrives in a collaborative but autonomous setting and enjoys treating patients throughout the continuum GYN services.

Responsibilities:

• See patients independently for a variety of visit types inclusive of annual GYN visits, medication follow ups, urgent follow ups, and post‑op visits.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow patients within a wide variety of Gyn Onc clinical diagnoses.
• Perform procedural visits such as bladder instillations, IUD removals/insertions, endometrial biopsies, and trigger point injections.
• Provide operative assist for Robotic and Laparoscopic surgical cases at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, and occasionally Mid Hudson Region Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
• Contribute to a flexible practice model that is designed to support future growth and evolving clinical needs
• Align with an organization where PAs have mentorship and support within the Center for Advanced Practice where Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are integral members, not an afterthought

• Candidates must be Board Certified as a PA-C, with a current, unrestricted applicable New York State License.
• Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of ambulatory GYN experience, although highly motivated new graduates will be considered.
• Excellent communication skills are a must, in addition to strong clinical judgment, and the demonstration to work effectively in a high‑acuity environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Candidates must have BLS and ACLS
