Orthopedic Joint Surgeon

Northwell Orthopedics is seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained Orthopedic Joint Surgeon to join their clinical team in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY. Surgical work will be based at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, a 312-bed community teaching hospital offering comprehensive inpatient, intensive care, and specialized emergency services. Candidates will have access to collaborative research opportunities and academic appointments through affiliated institutions.

• Clinical team in Jackson Heights in Queens, NY
• Surgical work will be based at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills (LIJFH) in Queens, NY
• LIJFH is a 312-bed community teaching hospital that provides inpatient medical and surgical care, intensive care, and women's health services
• Designated as a Level II Perinatal Center
• Emergency Department is a 911 receiving site, a certified heart station, as well as a New York state-designated Stroke Center
• Orthopedic Department holds an advanced certification in total joint replacement from the Joint Commission

Compensation

• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Joint fellowship
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
• Candidates fluent in Spanish are encouraged to apply
