Location: Village of Roslyn
Join our team as a Pulmonologist in a high-acuity cardiopulmonary specialty hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Diagnosing and managing complex respiratory diseases across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Providing consultative and primary pulmonology care to hospitalized patients, including ICU and step-down units
- Evaluating and managing conditions such as acute respiratory failure, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, and post-operative pulmonary issues
- Performing and interpreting pulmonary diagnostics (PFTs, imaging, labs)
- Coordinating pulmonary procedures like bronchoscopy, pending privileges
- Collaborating with respiratory therapy, critical care teams, nursing, and other specialists
- Providing hospital call coverage for pulmonary consults and emergencies
- Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records
- Board Certified or Eligible in Pulmonology
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient-centered care and documentation excellence
- Base salary over $350K, commensurate with experience
