Pain Medicine Physician

Location: New Hyde Park & Richmond Hill, NY

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Management Physician / Physiatrist to join its team at offices in New Hyde Park and Richmond Hill, New York
.

The ideal candidate will have completed a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency and an Interventional Pain Management fellowship
, with experience evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic pain.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform appropriate interventional pain management procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and pain-management strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree.
• Residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management
  .
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R.
• Eligible for or currently holding a New York medical license
  .
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
• Experience treating patients with musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions.

Preferred:

• Experience performing interventional pain procedures.
• Strong patient communication and bedside manner.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
