Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching in an institution dedicated primarily to undergraduate education. They will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity and gender issues, as SUNY Plattsburgh is committed to ensuring that its graduates are educated to succeed in an increasingly complex, multicultural, and interdependent world.
- Teach nursing courses as assigned for undergraduate programs.
- Participate in mandatory safety training when assigned to laboratories, studios, or other facilities (training provided during the first week of each semester; no additional compensation).
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and to diversity and inclusion.
- Ability to contribute to an undergraduate nursing program with a focus on diverse and inclusive education.
