Position: Probationary Speech Language Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist - 2 Positions
Location: Village of Clifton Springs

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has openings for 2 probationary Speech Language Therapists or Speech Language Pathologists. The successful candidates will need to:

Experience with speech/language instruction in an elementary and/or preschool/Universal Pre-Kindergarten setting;

Experience with speech/language instruction in a special education setting;

Experience and willingness to co-instruct/co-teach young learners with general education or special education teachers in an elementary setting;

Strong knowledge base of speech and language developmental milestones;

Specialty in phonemic awareness skills and signs of apraxia preferred;

Training and qualification to instruct in IEP goals;

Experience and willingness to work with different learning styles and needs;

Ability to support skills-based programs of reading and writing instruction;

Ability to support and work in a team-learning classroom setting;

Experience with Medicaid reimbursement.
