Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Instruction: Study and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
  • Lesson Planning and Instruction (continued): Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning.
  • Lesson Planning and Instruction (classroom): Manage a classroom of 20+ scholars.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations.
  • Assessment and Evaluation (continued): Provide timely feedback and support to help students improve.
  • Assessment and Evaluation (records): Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain a productive learning environment.

    Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and behavioral issues.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree before your first day of work with Success Academy (a background in education is not required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for learning and commitment to student development
  • Ability to work in person in New York City ($2500 stipend for qualified relocations)
  • Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
