Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm plus occasional out‑of‑school responsibilities
Compensation: (General range – salaries determined by credentials and experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided)
- Bachelor’s: $66,000 – $144,000
- Master’s: $75,000 – $150,000

Aboutthe Opportunity
As an Inclusive Learning teacher, you will spend the majority of the day with students, collaborating with your grade team and the Instructional Leadership Team to adopt or develop curriculum, deliver high‑quality instruction, track and assess student progress, and foster a positive classroom and school culture. You will also serve as a class advisor, mentoring students throughout their high school career and supporting their academic and emotional development.
Qualifications- Experience teaching students with disabilities (high school level or above preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, and either a current or in‑process New York State special education certification
- Minimum three years of experience in relevant educational settings, preferably in an ICT or SETSS provider role
- Strong professional and ethical standards, with a commitment to continuous improvement through professional development
- Interest in researching and applying anti‑racist pedagogy and best practices
- Experience working with diverse student populations and communities
- Belief that every student can learn when empowered with quality education
- Demonstrated success in raising achievement levels for historically underserved students
- Flexibility to adapt roles and responsibilities to school and student needs
- Minimum two years of experience in relevant educational positions
- Embodiment and modeling of core values for student practice
- Setting ambitious, backwards‑planned goals aligned with student success and instructional context
- Deep content knowledge and effective pedagogy, evidenced by objective‑driven instruction and active learning
- Establishing clear expectations and routines for a supportive, respectful learning environment
- Building a classroom community that actively applies restorative practices
- Acting as an advisor to 10‑15 students, motivating them across skill levels and cultivating social‑emotional well‑being
- Adopting a team‑first mindset, contributing proactively to the community and engaging families and community members
