Lecturer Doctoral Schedule in Bilingual Education and Special Education
The School of Education at The City College of New York invites applications for a full-time, Doctoral Lecturer position in Bilingual Education and Special Education beginning Fall 2026.
The position includes teaching, academic advisement, and service to the department and college. The successful candidate will teach courses in the Bilingual Education and Special Education programs, advise students, and actively contribute to committee work. They will also collaborate with colleagues to seek external funding and with local school districts to strengthen partnerships. An important expectation of this role is to revamp and, over time, assume leadership of the Bilingual Special Education program.
QualificationsPh.D. or Ed.D. in Bilingual Education or Special Education required.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience teaching face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses.
- Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Commitment to urban education.
- Experience teaching or working in an official capacity in public schools.
Salary Range: $89,933 - $94,967.
