Bilingual Education Champion – Tutor (In‑Person)

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing bilingual support in ELA and Math Regents test preparation. This role requires in‑person tutoring for grades 9‑12, three days a week, with flexibility for 10‑35 hours.

• Locations and Languages – In‑person tutors fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Arabic or Ukrainian.
• Pay – $27–$30 per hour with up to 10% bonus for program completion.
• Schedule – 10–35 hours per week, three days per week.
• Training and Growth – Ongoing professional development and classroom experience.

• Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group instruction in Math, Reading, Writing and Regents exam prep.
• Help reinforce core concepts, improve academic confidence, and strengthen literacy and problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop personalized learning strategies.
• Bridge language gaps, ensuring every student receives support in both English and the second language.

• Passion for learning and commitment to underserved bilingual students.
• Bilingual proficiency: fluent in English and a second language (Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Arabic, or Ukrainian).
• Degree‑seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Available to work 10–35 hours per week and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative spirit and readiness to work with teachers, leaders, and fellow tutors.
