Position

Part Time Childcare Educator Longwood at Right At School.

Monday-Friday: 6:45am-9:25am and 3:10pm-6:30pm (Schedule based on school placement. Job begins in August for the 2025/2026 school year).

$17.00-$20.00 (based on education and experience)

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities: prepare activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives, lead structured activities that are educational and enjoyable.
• Lead by example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment, modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize safety and joy: monitor environment, address hazards, follow safety protocols, and document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communication: effective communication with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children under 13 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• First Aid and CPR in person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma/GED required.
• Substantial experience working with children under 13 years old (3-5 years).
