We are currently recruiting for Art Teachers for our adult students for Thursdays and Saturdays in our Hartsdale school location.

We need a Studio Art teacher with experience teaching advanced and beginner adult art students.

This position will start in September 2025.

Our Adult Students choose between a guided project class in which One River provides all the curriculum, or an open studio format where the teacher assists the students in creating art work that is student driven. In both cases a wide variety of mediums and techniques are used.

Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Our Fine Arts instructors need a strong background in visual arts - BFA or MFA preferred and at least 10 years fine art teaching experience.

• 10+ years of experience teaching fine art classes
• MFA or Masters In Art Education
• Knowledge of a wide range of studio art mediums and techniques
• Thoughtful communication skills
