Job Summary
The Improv Instructor plays a vital role within Concorde Education by fostering creativity, spontaneity, and teamwork among students. This role involves teaching various types of improvisation, leading warm-ups, guiding students in scene creation, and imparting valuable tips and tricks to enhance their improv skills. The instructor will design and implement a curriculum that not only teaches improv techniques but also encourages students to think on their feet, collaborate effectively, and build confidence.

General Responsibilities
Major Duties
Develop lesson plans and learning modules that go beyond basic improv to incorporate elements of collaboration, strategy, and problem-solving.
Lead classes, ensuring that each student is actively engaged and benefiting from the educational experience.
Regularly evaluate student progress, adapting instruction to meet individual needs.
Create a classroom environment that encourages teamwork, fair play, and respect among students.
Ensure the optimal performance of any required software and hardware.
Keep accurate records of student attendance, assessment results, and feedback, submitting reports as required.

- Instructional Skills:
Ability to design and implement a curriculum that is age-appropriate, engaging, and educational. - Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff. - Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities. Must be open to receiving feedback and making adjustments accordingly. - Organizational Skills:
Must be able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. - Content Knowledge:
Must have extensive knowledge in all content areas of improvisation, including scene work, character development, and various improv games and exercises.
