Overview
The Arlington Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for per diem substitute teaching positions for the 2025/2026 school year. Interviews will occur on a monthly basis. The starting rate of pay for a Certified Substitute Teacher is $132/day and for a Non-Certified Substitute Teacher it is $116/day, with the opportunity for a bonus to be paid in July 2026 (see details below).
CertifiedTeacher
- Substitute for at least 50 days = $500 bonus, or;
- Substitute for at least 75 days = $750 bonus, or;
- Substitute for at least 100 days = $1,000 bonus
- Substitute for at least 50 days = $500 bonus, or;
- Substitute for at least 75 days = $750 bonus
- Complete online application and then apply for the position
- Upload resume, cover letter, references and transcript(s)
- A minimum education requirement for a Non-Certified Substitute Teacher position is an Associate's degree or 60 college credits.
- Please provide college transcripts and proof of teaching certification(s) held, if applicable
- Fingerprint clearance will be required if hired.
