Technical Theater Production Supervisor

- Provide school‑based oversight and supplemental guidance for all K‑12 technical theatre objectives, including set design, lighting design, and sound design.
- Coach theatre teachers across the network on professional technical theatre training, assisting students with building sets and props, designing and programming lighting, sound design and support, and implementing the technical theatre curriculum at all schools.
- Visit all school locations and theatre staff at least twice a year, giving feedback on technical theatre use in the classroom and on final products.
- Act as project manager for large scale technical theatre events, coordinating scenic design, lighting, sound and stakeholder involvement.
- Offer training and support in the technical arts to theatre teachers, engaging students with a variety of technical theatre skills.
- Build a classroom culture in which scholars develop a love of technical theater.
- Collaborate with theatre teachers across the network to build world‑class theatre programs with high production values.
- Design and execute professional‑quality sets with lighting and sound elements to match.
- Have professional training in a rigorous technical theatre program or technical project management.
- Have a passion for theatre, learning and working with children, and for implementing effective theatre instruction.
- Set ambitious goals, work hard, and enjoy taking the lead and inspiring others.
- Have leadership experience as a technical director, and pay strong attention to detail while juggling multiple responsibilities.
- Have experience working with a group of children.

- Have a valid driver’s license.
$65,000 – $65,000 USD (exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience).
