Customer Service Coordinator - Part-time, Hartsdale, NY

About the role: This part‑time role will assist One River School of Art and Design in the key areas of new student acquisition and member service. The position is based at our Hartsdale School location.

Schedule: Weekday afternoons and evenings, Saturdays and Sundays daytime hours (10–20 hours a week)

Compensation: $17–$20 per hour

• Answer all phone inquiries from current and prospective members
• Support opening and closing of the school
• Onboard new students and check‑in members to appropriate classes
• Conduct tours for prospective members
• Assist the Education Coordinator in managing the class‑makeup calendar via Calendly
• Create a strong connection with members and ensure the highest level of customer service
• Ensure students are picked up by parents/guardians after class in a timely manner
• Contact parents/guardians of any students dismissed from class for any reason
• Process and assist with new student enrollments, cancellations, freezes, and class switches
• Assist instructors and staff with related customer service, enrollment, design, marketing, etc. needs

• Thoughtful communication skills
• Detail‑oriented, self‑starter, well organized; able to set weekly priorities and goals for assigned tasks
• Some weekend availability required
• 1+ year of customer service experience
• 1+ year of prior admin experience preferred but not required
• Familiar with G‑Suite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Forms, etc.)
• Familiar with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) not required but a plus
• Familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and local blogs
• Background or interest in visual arts, art education, museum education, or related fields
• Any interest or experience in art education or museum education
