Overview
The Adjunct Instructor works with the Program Chair and Lead Course Instructor to teach program courses.
Responsibilities- Teach a minimum of one graduate level course.
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
- Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data.
- Support students’ learning goals by:
- Focusing on student learning outcomes.
- Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students.
- Becoming familiar with academic and social support.
- Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences.
- Maintaining the academic integrity of the college.
- Making himself/herself available to assist students in achieving their learning goals.
- Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of the highest attainable degree).
- Previous collegiate teaching experience recommended.
- Maximum Salary: USD $125.00 per hour.
- Minimum Salary: USD $60.00 per hour.
