FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTNew York City College of Technology (City Tech) of the City University of New York (CUNY) is a comprehensive college offering associate and bachelor’s degree programs in downtown Brooklyn.
The Physics Department seeks instructors for algebra-based and calculus-based physics courses for the Spring 2026 and/or Fall 2026 semesters.
QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAdjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
Adjunct Assistant Professor:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSFor Adjunct Lecturer, a master’s degree is preferred.
Preference will be given to applicants with prior college-level teaching experience within the same discipline.
COMPENSATIONAdjunct Lecturer: $100.41/hr
Adjunct Assistant Professor: $109.54/hr
