Adjunct Instructor - Nursing LPN Program

Located in Alfred, NY, the campus is part of the Western New York Wilds, known for its natural beauty, outdoor opportunities, and a tight-knit community. Alfred offers a welcoming, collaborative environment with access to arts, culture, and nearby metropolitan areas such as Rochester and Buffalo.
Responsibilities- Supervise care provided by a group of students (usually 8-10 students in a group).
- Coordinate with clinicians at the clinical site to assign student patients.
- Teach students how to perform duties in the clinical site and respond to questions.
- Evaluate students' clinical work. Additional expectations will be discussed at the time of interview.
- Participate in weekly level meetings.
- A master’s degree in nursing or nursing education is required; applicants actively pursuing a BSN in Nursing will be considered.
- New York State Professional Nursing license and current CPR certification required, with a strong clinical background in healthcare.
- Excellent teaching, clinical, and communication skills; critical thinking, problem solving, organizational abilities, and computer skills.
- Experience with simulation is desirable.
Our Adjunct Rates start at $1,500 per lecture credit and $1,125 per lab credit. Employees are offered comprehensive benefits, including extensive healthcare and retirement options, with the potential for a pension. We emphasize work-life balance and professional growth.
