Associate Teacher

As an Infant / Toddler / Twos Assistant Teacher, you'll:

• Work collaboratively to ensure the well-being and development of children
• Collaborate on and ensure curriculum will foster children's curiosity and help them achieve key individual and age-appropriate milestones which you'll track
• Assist with implementation of lesson planning & inquiry-based activities curriculum
• Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
• Closely supervise children and adhere to NYS regulations and Playto policies
• Ensure app updates are provided daily for families

• Absolutely LOVE working with young learners, and understand every child is a sponge, infinitely capable and learning from everything you do and say
• Believe every family deserves a partner in world-class childcare
• Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Are already, or are willing to be CPR and First Aid certified as well as completing a background check and other training
• While not necessary, A CDA or Associates Degree is a plus

Physical demands of this position include but are not limited to sitting and standing for extended periods, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, and frequently moving or lifting children weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
