Teacher - Temporary Position
Location: Hempstead, NY
Salary: As per contract.
DescriptionThe Department of Special Education at Nassau BOCES is seeking temporary teachers to work with students who have learning, behavior, and social/emotional needs. Candidates should possess strong skills in differentiated instruction and demonstrated abilities in data‑informed instruction and the Next Generation Learning Standards.
Requirements- New York State Certified Special Education Teachers, preferably holding two or more certifications in the following areas:
- Students with Disabilities (Birth‑2)
- Students with Disabilities (Grades 1‑6)
- Students with Disabilities (Grades 5‑9)
- Students with Disabilities (Grades 7‑12)
