Location: The Learning Experience – Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY

Pay: $20–$22 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Age Group: Preschool (3–4 years)

The Learning Experience – Bushwick is seeking a passionate and reliable Preschool Teacher to support our 3–4-year-old classroom. Our preschool program focuses on kindergarten readiness, early academics, social-emotional development, and creativity through structured routines and play-based learning.

This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator who enjoys leading a classroom, fostering independence, and helping preschoolers build confidence and foundational learning skills.

• Lead daily classroom activities for preschool-aged children in a safe, engaging environment
• Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that support early literacy, math, and problem‑solving
• Encourage positive peer interactions, communication, and emotional regulation
• Partner with assistant teachers to maintain classroom structure and consistency
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress, routines, and milestones
• Ensure compliance with New York State childcare regulations and health and safety standards

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with young children plus a high school diploma

• Experience working in a preschool or childcare classroom preferred
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Must meet all New York State early childhood licensing requirements
