We have an amazing opportunity for a Bricklaying Skills Tutor to work for one of the country's leading training providers as part of HM Prison Service. This will involve assessing the learning and skills needs of individual offenders with a view to improving their employability skills.
Whether you have experience as a Construction Tutor already or have significant bricklaying experience and want to become a Tutor, we want to hear from you!
Location:York Candidates must have the following skills, experience, and qualifications to be considered:
- The ability to teach your trade as a Multi-skilled trades personnel
- Minimum 5 years of trade experience in Brickwork
- A full teaching qualification at Level 4-5 or above or equivalent (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, DTTLS) or willingness to work towards
- Experience working with hard-to-reach learners.
- Experience dealing with challenging situations.
- Experienced in offering Advice & Guidance.
- A mentor and role model to others.

- Mon-Thur 8.00AM-5.00PM Fri-1.30 PM finish
