Job SummaryQSAC is hiring part‑time NYS Certified Special Education Teachers for our home and community based EI, SEIT and SETSS programs (NYC boroughs).
We offer flexible schedules with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week, but can increase the case load to 20+ hours
. All programmatic instruction is designed and implemented according to the principles and procedures of a applied behavior analysis (ABA). Looking for more than just a job? Join our team of dedicated behavior analysts and certified teachers and start making a difference!
The salary range for this position is $55.00-$65.00 an hour.
Hours are 8am-6pm.
SEIT Teachers with availability during school hours are an urgent need.
Qualification & Work Experience- New York State Permanent Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities (B‑2 or All Grades) Initial or Professional certification required
- Experience with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and applied behavior analysis is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
- Demonstrate patience and ability to learn and utilize systematic procedures to enhance independence and quality of life
- Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served
- Commitment to company values and adherence to policies
Child’s home, an approved or licensed pre‑Kindergarten or Head Start program, non‑special education school setting or a childcare location selected by the parent.
