Hebrew-Speaking Assistant Teacher

Schedule: Monday through Friday, Standard School Hours

A school in Brooklyn is seeking a Hebrew‑Speaking Assistant Teacher to support classroom instruction and student engagement. This role works closely with lead teachers to assist with academic activities, classroom management, and language support, helping create a warm, structured, and effective learning environment. The ideal candidate is patient, organized, and fluent in Hebrew, with a passion for working with children.

• Support the lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and activities
• Assist students with classwork, small group learning, and individual support
• Communicate with students in Hebrew to reinforce language development
• Help maintain a positive, organized, and respectful classroom environment
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other activities
• Prepare classroom materials and assist with lesson implementation
• Support student social, emotional, and behavioral development
• Follow school policies and procedures at all times

• Fluency in Hebrew (required)
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
• Patience, reliability, and a nurturing approach to student support
• Ability to manage classroom responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment
