Are you an organized and energetic leader who thrives in dynamic environments? We're hiring immediately for an on‑site After school Program Coordinator role in the Bronx to help ensure our enrichment programs run smoothly and efficiently.
Role: After‑School Program Coordinator
Location: Bronx
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Compensation: $40 per hour
Start Date: February 2025
End Date: June 2026
What You’ll Do- Serve as the reliable, primary liaison between Togetherhood and the after school partner sites in the Bronx
- Communicate regularly with instructors, site staff, and the Togetherhood team to ensure smooth program delivery
- Check in instructors as they arrive and support daily class functions including attendance tracking and class material preparation
- Monitor all classes and support instructors with classroom management and student behavior as needed
- Assist instructors with supplies, setup, and student engagement as needed
- Maintain a tidy and organized inventory of materials, and order/replenish supplies as needed
- Collect and organize at least two ready‑to‑use lesson plans from each instructor in case of emergencies
- Act as an on‑call substitute for any subject area (arts, STEM, sports, etc.) when an instructor is unexpectedly absent
- Collaborate closely with Togetherhood’s Customer Success Manager to maintain high‑quality programming and to resolve issues of escalation
- Have 3+ years working with elementary‑age students in teaching, coaching, or enrichment roles
- Have outstanding attendance and punctuality–this is an absolute necessity
- Organized, proactive, and calm under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable — especially when subbing in for classes
- Clear communicator, collaborator, and professional presence on‑site
- Comfortable with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and texting apps
- Excited about supporting joyful, high‑quality after school programs
- Able to follow a modest and professional dress code on‑site
- Ideally reside in the Bronx, Inwood, or Washington Heights
