The Teacher Aide to assist teachers in such non-teaching duties as managing records, materials, and equipment; attending to the physical needs of children; and supervising students.

• Under the supervision of the Teacher, manages student records, materials in the classroom and equipment.
• Under the supervision of the Teacher, attends to the physical needs of students.
• Assists the classroom team with classroom organization and clean up.
• Supervises students when determined as needed and supervised by the teacher.
• Performs other services that support the Teacher with teaching duties as determined by the Teacher .
• Comply with regulatory requirements and school policy and procedures in all areas.
• Maintain an appropriate and effective interpersonal relationships with team and department members, parents, other staff, supervisors, administrators, and outside agencies.
• Demonstrate:
  Open communication, flexibility and the ability to learn and utilize team building strategies
• The ability to self-evaluate, to utilize supervision and problem solve
• The ability to both offer and accept assistance to/from others.
• Perform other duties assigned.
