School Psychologist - Long Term Substitute

The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates to fill a long‑term substitute teaching position starting January 27, 2026.

Candidates for all substitute positions must receive WCSD Board approval as a WCSD substitute teacher prior to starting the assignment. After fifteen consecutive days, our long‑term substitute teachers are compensated at teacher salary according to their placement on the WCT salary schedule with the initial 15‑day per diem payments paid retroactively back to the first day worked at salary level.

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold valid NYSED certification in the area of School Psychologist and you must be appointed to the WCSD as a certified substitute teacher. Please note that all substitute applicants must submit two signed letters of recommendation from within the past 18 months.
