New York University’s Arts and Science, Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies, seeks an assistant professor in Hebrew Bible to begin Sept 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and supervise doctoral students.
Candidates must hold a doctorate in a field related to the Hebrew Bible, demonstrate strong philological skills in Hebrew and related ancient languages, and engage with NYU’s Jewish Studies programs, including Tel Aviv study away and Archaeology
