TAG Med Staffing is urgently hiring a Paraprofessional (NYC Schools) in Bronx, NY for our client, supporting K–12 students in New York City school settings. This role provides one-on-one and small group support to students with academic, behavioral, developmental, and special education needs. The Paraprofessional will work closely with teachers and school staff to reinforce instruction, support classroom structure, and promote student success throughout the school day.

This position is available across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island based on candidate preference!

• Student Support: Provide individualized and small group support to students with academic, behavioral, developmental, and special education needs.
• Instructional Assistance: Reinforce lesson plans, classroom activities, and educational goals under the direction of the teacher.
• Classroom Management: Help maintain a structured, safe, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success.
• Behavioral Intervention: Implement behavioral support strategies and assist with student engagement, focus, and social development.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Communicate with teachers and school staff regarding student progress and maintain required documentation as needed.

• Education:High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification:Teacher Assistant (TA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Experience:Prior experience as a Paraprofessional, Teacher Assistant, Teacher Aide, HHA, CNA, or in a similar support role is required.
• Industry Knowledge:Experience supporting children or individuals with special needs is required.

• Skills & Attributes:Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, school staff, and families are required.
