Reporting to the Counselor & Academic Support Specialist, the HEOP Peer tutor provides 30–60-minute one-on-one tutoring and/or study groups to HEOP students in any course
, along with popular first-year classes.
Peer tutors are typically upper-class or graduate students recommended by HEOP faculty & staff members. Peer tutors can assist with any course they have already taken and mastered (3.25 or higher). Peer tutors are fellow Fordham students who provide guidance on both course content and learning strategies. Peer tutors will be responsible for providing supplemental instruction to HEOP students.

Required Qualifications:Education and Experience
FT Undergraduate or graduate student
3.25 min GPA for course being tutored
Peer tutors are typically upper-class or graduate students recommended by HEOP faculty & staff members
Previous tutoring and/or classroom experience.

Must be a FT student
Background in the specific course that will be tutored.
