Phaxis Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Spanish Teacher to join a supportive school community in NY area. The ideal candidate will inspire a love for language and culture while creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment aligned with state and district standards.

The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for delivering effective instruction in Spanish language and culture to high school students, fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation.

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Incorporate cultural themes and real-world applications to enhance learning
• Develop and implement assessments to monitor student progress
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and academic excellence
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and community activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification required.
• Previous experience teaching Spanish at the high school level preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to student growth and continuous learning

• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Effective classroom management and instructional strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience integrating technology and cultural experiences into instruction
