Location: City of Rensselaer
Training Specialist 1 (Instructional Design) supports the design of instructionally sound learning solutions and develops training materials for various modalities including classroom, eLearning, and virtual formats. The role works within the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, Bureau of Training and Development, based in Rensselaer, and includes responsibilities for curriculum development, pilot testing, and coordination with subject matter experts and trainers.
Keyqualifications:
- Six years of experience developing and implementing learning solutions for adults (or substitutable through relevant degrees)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Planner, and Adobe Products
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external partners
- Valid driver's license required; 5% travel required
