The Mansfield Public Schools seeks dedicated and motivated people to substitute in our schools.
A four-year college degree is required to be a substitute teacher; a high school diploma is required to be a substitute para educator.
Upon submission of your online application, we will send you a packet of materials for you to complete and return to the Superintendent's Office, Town Hall.
We will contact you to arrange for a training session once your completed paperwork has been received.
All new substitute teachers and para educators are required to be fingerprinted through EASTCONN. Details and paperwork will be provided with your employment packet.
School Year as of January 1, 2026- Para educator daily rate without a Bachelor's degree - $115.00
- Teacher/Para educator daily rate with a Bachelor's degree or higher - $130.00
- Certified Teacher daily rate with active teaching certificate - $155.00
