Your typical day as a Teacher Aide may include:- Assisting with activities, supervising students, and maintaining the classroom and other areas, assisting in developing good health standards and appropriate social habits.
- Filling in for other staff if needed.
- Capacity to manage responsibilities and competing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a calm and respectful manner.
- Maintaining a positive, encouraging attitude to motivate others.
Job Requirements:
- NYS Fingerprint Clearance is required.
- Graduation from high school and or possession of a high school equivalency diploma
- Knowledge in a particular field where specialized duties are involved.
