PAY SCALE
:$46,500 - $70,000/Year, Based on Education and Experience

JOB DESCRIPTION
:
Provide advocacy and instructional leadership for the understanding and use of technology in classroom instruction. Continue training and supporting the use of Office 365 (i.e., Teams, SharePoint,) and other instructional tools.

TYPICAL DUTIES
:

Trainteachersandsupportstafftoeffectivelyincorporatetechnologyintoclassroominstruction and assessment.(Train the trainers: Coordination)
Provideindividualized,classroom-based,technical/instructional assistance.
Presenttechnologyideasandinformationtovariousschoolaudiences(Board,faculties,school personnel groups).
Evaluate/demonstrateinstructionaltechnologyhardwareandsoftwareproducts.
Study/communicatetechnologyideasandtrendsthatholdfuturepromiseforclassroom instruction and assessment.
Serveasamemberofaregionaltechnologyresourceteam(Instructional Technology Specialists Program).
Conductplanning,applied research,and evaluation projects.
Manageandtrainsupportstaffon Student Information Systems .
Liaisonwithsteeringcommitteesfor Staff Development and Curriculum Development .
Performotherdutiesappropriatetothepositionasassigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 5+ years of teaching and/or training. Experience using computers in Instruction. Experience in training, staff and curriculum development.
Education: Current New York State Teacher Certificate. Course work in instructional technology and computing.
