The Owego Apalachin Central School District is seeking current college students interested in gaining hands-on professional experience through our Summer Internship Program. Interns will work alongside district staff to support a variety of summer programs and initiatives while developing valuable career skills.

• Hawk's Nest Summer Learning Camp (Education, Pediatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Sports Management)
• Music Education
• Building and Grounds

Responsibilities will vary depending on the department placement but may include assisting with program operations, supporting staff with daily tasks, working with students or community members, and contributing to projects within the assigned department.

Interns assigned to Hawk's Nest Summer Learning Camp will assist with student supervision, support academic centers and enrichment activities, and help facilitate the daily operations of the summer learning program.

Interns should be available to participate for the full five-week program (July 13 August 14, 2026) and maintain consistent attendance during the scheduled hours of Monday Friday, 8:15 AM 3:00 PM.

• Current college student who has completed at least one semester of college coursework.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Interest in gaining experience related to the selected internship area.

• Current unofficial college transcript that includes your major
• One letter of recommendation from a college professor or advisor
• College coursework/major matches the area in which you are applying.
