Position: Adjunct Faculty - Clinical Nursing (GRADE)
Location: Town of Canandaigua

The Nursing Department at Finger Lakes Community College is seeking

Clinical Adjunct Faculty who are innovative and adaptable educatorscommitted to student engagement, excellence in teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration. We are looking for individuals toteach clinical within our fundamentals, medical-surgical and mental health courses.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge of the current subject area and clinical expertise in the assigned area.

Implements course outcomes based on the master syllabus.

Prepares and creates pre/post conference plans, instructional materials, and activities for students during the clinicalday.

Ensures safe clinical practice throughout each clinical day and evaluates student performance at mid and final semester.

Maintains accurate student records.

Submits pertinent data to the department and/or the College.

Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum BSN.

Preferred Qualifications

Recent acute care experience required. Teaching experience preferred

Additional Information

Adjunct rate of pay for the Academic Year is $1,087per contact hour
