Teaching Assistant

Ballston Spa Central School District has vacancies for Teaching Assistants both in the general education and special education setting. Teaching assistants work directly with the teachers to give additional attention and instruction and foster a positive learning environment for students.

Duties involve assisting students individually and in small groups, and helping with behavior management. Candidates must have the ability to multi-task, assist in teaching across curricula, be a team player, take direction from the classroom teacher, and have a willingness to learn.

Minimum Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant Certification and a minimum of 18 college credits.
