Hours:

7:30 AM to 4:45 PM, plus some responsibilities outside school hours

Curriculum & Instruction Teach Latin and Debate across several grade levels

Deliver standards-aligned lessons from a rigorous, established classical curriculum

Refine lessons for clarity, rigor and relevance with support from instructional coaches

Drive gap-closing gains so students reach mastery of New York State Standards Data Analysis Collect and analyze academic and behavior data to identify student needs

Work with colleagues and coaches on data-driven instructional improvements

Culture

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or graduate degree in History, Classics, Education or a related field, OR at least 3 years of teaching experience

Experience teaching, reading and speaking Latin (required)
Strong classroom management skills

Teaching certification preferred

Experience at a high-performing charter school preferred

Excellent work ethic and organizational skills
